Business Management Students Compete at State BPA

Students Visit New York City

The Barberton High School Cosmetology students attended the International Hair and Beauty Expo. The Advancement to Nursing attended American Red Cross of Greater New York and Body World Exhibit. During the visit the students toured ground zero, Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty.

Business Professionals of America, Regional Competition Results.

Congratulations to the following Business Management students who qualified in their respective contests!   Business Management is taught by Mrs. Ledman at Barberton High School.  These students will compete at the Business Professionals of America State Competition in Columbus on March 13-14.


100 % Passage Rate for Nursing Students

Please congratulate the ENTIRE Senior Advancement to Nursing Class who passed their State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA)  Exam!  These students will now intern at Summa Barberton Hospital during their class time.


Their scores on both the written and skilled test were outstanding!


Carpentry Program Remodels Gazebo


Students from the Carpentry Program, housed at Wadsworth High School, recently remodeled the Gazebo in the Wadworth town square.  Students replaced the flooring, skirting, and steps.  The gazebo was originally built in 1973 by the Carpentry Program students.

Beginning of School Guidelines for Compact Students

If you are enrolled in a program at Wadsworth (Auto, Carpentry, Engineering Design, Web Design, Media Communications, or Medical Assisting ) you are required to begin attending your program on Aug. 21.  You will pick up the Compact bus at your home school. You are responsible for your own transportation to and from your home school.

Students Win at BPA State Competition

Students from the Business Management Class at Barberton High School (Mrs. Ledman) recently competed at the state competition in Columbus.  Many students from the class were entered in compettions against the best students from across the state.

Students' Success at DECA State Conference

Barberton High School Marketing (DECA)  students Janel Mitchell & Jana Sawalma who placed third in the State in Sports & Entertainment Business Operations Research at the DECA Career Development Conference over the weekend and will represent BHS at the National Competition in Anaheim, CA in April.

Masonry Students Are Rock Solid At Competition

Congratulations to Don Begert and his students for their tremendous success on December 11, 2012 at the Masonry Competition.  The boys claimed 3 of the 6 final places!



Culinary Students Prepare Large Buffet

The Advisory Committee annual dinner and meeting was held on Oct. 24th at Copley High School.


Once again, our Culinary students and instructors prepared and served a fabulous meal!

Students perform DNA testing

Senior Nursing Students Have 100% Passage on STNA Test
