Cosmetology

Cosmetology allows students to learn about hair styling and skin and nail care in a social atmosphere.  The program includes a rigorous study of anatomy, chemistry and physiology, as well as the theory and practice of cosmetology.  Students will also operate a school based salon, which is open to the public by appointment only on Fridays from 12:00 - 2:00.  Upon passing of the state exam, students will be qualified for employment in this rapidly growing field in a hair design or full-service spa salon.

See the Virtual Spring Open House for incoming Compact students participating in Cosmetology.
