Program Information
Barberton High School
This one-year Career and Technical Education program prepares students to learn the skills needed to earn the Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant Certification (STNA). Students will spend a minimum of seventy-five (75) hours in class at Barberton High School and a minimum of sixteen (16) hours of supervised clinical experience at Pleasant View Health Care Center. The student will complete American Heart Association CPR and First Aid.
This program aims to provide high school students with the opportunity to receive an entry-level position in the healthcare field.
