Cosmetology allows students to learn about hair styling and skin and nail care in a social atmosphere. The program includes a rigorous study of anatomy, chemistry, and physiology, as well as the theory and practice of cosmetology. Students will also operate a school-based salon open to the public by appointment only on Fridays from 12:00 - 2:00. Upon passing the state exam, students will be qualified for employment in this rapidly growing field in a hair design or full-service spa salon.
