Updated Information for Compact's Restart

As we take our final preparation steps at Barberton High School and Wadsworth High School for the return of students on Monday, August 31st, here are a few helpful pieces of information. Please, also note that students at Norton High School will begin limited opportunities for in-person skills practice and hands-on learning on Monday, August 31st as well (see emails from program teachers).

  • Compact Busses will run from all four Compact schools starting Monday, August 31st.  Students will be required to wear masks and sit in assigned seats.
  • All Compact students who plan on driving themselves should do so on the first day and park in assigned areas:
    • Barberton High School- student lot near the track (see map here
    • Wadsworth High School- student lot
    • Norton High School- student lot
      • Masonry (at Norton)- teacher lot at Norton Middle School lot (see map here)
    • Copley High School- Compact students should continue their virtual activities (see emails from teachers)
  • The daily bell schedules at some of our schools have been adjusted to make allowances for things like staggered starts and more lunch periods (please see program school websites for this information). HOWEVER, the Compact Bus schedule (posted on our webpage) will run as planned. Teachers will communicate any adjustments they plan to make.

Any student or parent with questions can be directed to Compact Director Roger Wright at rwright@fourcitiescompact.org.
