Career Tech Teachers Learn Latest Technologies

Career Tech Teachers have to keep up with latest technologies that are being used in business and industry. New equipment in the Engineering and Robotics Lab at Wadsworth High School provided by Haas and SME Prime led to some heavy duty training for teachers Kip Shipley and Jason Van Kirk. In November the teachers travelled to Danville Community College in Virginia for an intense training that will help them successfully operate the lab's new CNC Milling Machine and teach their students how to use it. The level of learning for young Engineers in training goes much deeper when they can design a part, then actually manufacture it as would be done in typical production. Many thanks to both Mr. Shipley and Mr. Van Kirk for their efforts!
