Barberton Middle School Participates in Reality Day

The Compact put on the 3rd Reality Day of the year -this time it was the 8th graders at Barberton Middle School that participated in the exercise in personal finances. There were a number of great community volunteers, student helpers from BHS, Superintendent Patti Cleary, Junior Achievement Volunteers, and others on hand to help the students make wise spending choices at 12 different stations representing real life expenditures. We would like to thank BMS Principal Joyce Walker and her terrific staff of teachers for bringing the program to Barberton and Compact Counselor Corinne Magensky and Secretary Kathy Furman for having things so well organized.
