Athletic Health & Wellness Visit Akron University

Students in the Compact's Athletic Health and Wellness Program (at Norton High School) recently visited the University of Akron to get a behind the scenes look at some of the training and sports rehab facilities. The Athletic Health program provides a broad base of information related to a variety of jobs in the medical field, and many program grads go on to careers in everything from Sports Medicine to Physical Therapy to Athletic Training and many others! Many thanks to teacher Sue Ward for providing a great opportunity for students to see what awaits after graduation and to our friends at the University of Akron for hosting today's visit.
